High performance engines

High-performance diesel and petrol engines deliver powerful torque with efficient fuel consumption. The TDI engines have a common rail system with piezo injectors. They are capable of injecting the diesel fuel into the combustion chamber at pressures of up to 1,800 bar. As a result of this the engines have plenty of torque in the lower engine speed range – and yet they are highly fuel-efficient.
