Comfort and convenience in the new Touran means first and foremost: sparing your nerves. With the enhanced “Park Assist” parking aid, for instance. It now also detects parking spaces at right angles to the kerb and in order to park it requires a gap of only around 40 cm in front of and behind the vehicle. There’s something new under the bonnet, too: the new Touran features only turbocharged TSI and TDI direct injection engines.  This makes it particularly effective – and saves you money: the 1.2 TSI with BlueMotion Technology, for example, uses around 2.2 litres less fuel than its predecessor (with similar output) per 100 km. That’s 27 percent – a substantial achievement.

Strikingly different: the exterior design
What is actually new on the Touran? The bonnet. The black radiator grille with chrome strips on the fins. The tailgate with rising side segments and integrated colour-keyed roof spoiler. The bumper cover. The side sections. The wings. The headlights. And much more besides. But more important than anything else is what has remained unchanged: superior quality you can rely on.

Clearly generous: the interior
Give yourself the space you need: the new Touran, in addition to ample legroom (even for tall drivers), features three individual seats in the second seat row. These have fore/aft adjustment and can be folded and double-folded, shifted sideways or removed. In addition, the centre seat in the second row can be used as a table.

Noticeably convenient: the lighting system
The lighting concept for the new Touran very conveniently provides more safety for your journey: thanks to daytime running lights and fog lights incorporating turning lights. Automatic headlight activation with a “leaving home" function and manual “coming home” function is another practical feature.
